Dr Goodfellow always asks lots of questions and is very thorough. She knows what a patent needs.
Dr Goodfellow has been taking care of me for many years. I'm healthy, but have have a couple of chronic conditions that require meds, and I visit occasionally for colds, etc. Most recently I was in for a periodic review of labs. Regular appointments can take a while to schedule, but if I need to get in quickly there's no problem. The doctor remembers my history, is sharp and skilled with care recommendations, nudges me to get tests, and is generous with time to answer my questions. As a bonus, the front office has gotten very efficient and helpful in the last year.
I love Dr Goodfellow, and the staff at Irvine Family Care! Dr Goodfellow is VERY Caring. She listens and helps me with my medical needs. To me, she feels like family. I've been her patient for 20 + years. I am So very grateful and blessed to have Dr. Goodfellow as my Primary Care Physician. Highly Recommend.
Dr Janet Goodfellow is thorough, patient, and knowledgeable. Everyone is very friendly and the wait is not long at all. I will definitely recommend her to everyone!

I just changed insurance and selected Dr. Young as my primary care physician. I was very pleased with the professionalism of the staff. Dr. Young reviewed my medical record and we discussed my needs. He was an excellent listener and asked me if I had any concerns. We made a referral to an excellent specialist and scheduled a physical examinination. My wife became a patient of Dr. Young's associates and had the same experience.
I highly recommend this practice and Dr. Young.
Dr. Young has been my primary care physician for the last 15 years, and is very thorough, and never rushes my visit. He also has great interpersonal skills which make it very easy to communicate with him.

I highly recommend Dr. Young and this office for their professional and courteous treatment and care. Dr. Young is excellent at giving information and treatment options. I originally went to Dr. Young many years ago and moved from Irvine. I have been to several doctors since for annual checkups and minor illnesses and just didn't feel that they really cared. I decided to try and return as a previous patient and was lucky enough to be accepted back at this office. I drive over and hour to get there now but it's well worth it for excellent treatment.
Dr. Young is my primary care physician. He usually runs on schedule, which I greatly appreciate. He is also kind and efficient. No waiting for hours for a prescription to be called in, etc.
I have been a patient of Dr. Goodfellows for 13 years and am grateful for the excellent medial care she has given me. She is very knowledgable and thorough and she has seen me through several medical issues including Diabetes for several years. Her staff is professional and I sometimes have to wait a few minutes when I call but that happens everywhere. I have never had a cancelled appointment or issue after all these years. I have been completely satisfied with her as my doctor and know I am in good hands.
I have been a patient of Dr Young for the past 13 years. He is a great doctor who listens and is empathetic to your situation. His office staff is great and very accommodating, never had a problem with getting an appointment when I needed it. He is very through and genuinely cares about you. He is very patient focused and always suggests ways to save money on tests and prescriptions. Great practice highly recommended
I have been going to Dr. Goodfellow for 5 years and am very grateful for her. She is very warm and outgoing. She listens through all of your concerns and questions. She goes over each test result and explains the purpose and what she's looking for. I find this very empowering.
I do feel like her nurse practitioner is slightly judgmental, but over the years I've come to like her as well.
You do need to schedule appointments well in advance, but I would say to take that as a sign. She's popular because everyone likes her.
Dr. Young is excellent, caring and professional. My 11 year old is a patient of his and he is truly an awesome doctor. He is very intelligent, knowledgeable and very approachable. I would recommend him for the whole family!
Love the staff and everyone here. Professional and caring, I never fear a trip to the doctor and always receive efficient and quality service. I never have an issue getting in, especially when I'm under the weather. They've gone above and beyond for me, getting my prescriptions to me when I was out of town and other actions that show true character for a health care staff.
I have been a patient of Dr. Young's for years and have been incredibly satisfied with my care. He has consistently handled my routine medical check-ups as well as my specific conditions that required his assistance to address. I happily and confidently recommend him as a primary care physician.
Dr. Goodfellow at Irvine Family Care has been my family's doctor for nearly 20 years. That pretty much says it all, but I'll go on. She's caring and knowledgeable, offering practical treatment plans and suggestions. Bonus--she's friendly too. Fun fact, back when I needed to find a doctor I didn't know anyone in Irvine to ask for a referral. Another hiccup, online reviews weren't a thing yet making research hard. So, how did I find her? Simple, I liked her last name so I rolled the dice. Luckily for us, Dr. Goodfellow turned out to be a "good"...wait, make that "great"...doctor. I just love a happy ending.
I have been a patient of Dr. Goodfellow's for probably 10 years. She is an excellent doctor. It is easy to communicate with her and share my health issues and concerns. I always feel like she takes her time with me to determine exactly what is wrong when I do see her. I do not think she ever diagnosed and prescribed me with anything (when necessary) that did not take care of the problem that I was having. I see her ever year for my physical too.
I've never had an issue getting in to see her or a P.A. in her office if she was unavailable. Her office has always been excellent in that manner. Only once could they not get me in and they approved me going to the urgent care downstairs and they relayed the information back to Dr. Goodfellow.
I could not be happier with Dr. Goodfellow as my family doctor.
