Insurance:
Irvine Family Care participates in a wide variety of health plans, including PPO plans and many others.
Because we are frequently adding new plans, please check with your own health plan through their toll free member services number, or visit their web site for the most up-to-date information. If your employer changes health insurance plans and you have been our patient all along, but the health plan says we are “closed”, please call us as we can often sort out the problem. If possible, we would like to continue to be your physician.
All HMO plans are contracted through Greater Newport Physicians, Inc. (GNP)
GNP has an outstanding web site. Additional questions regarding your HMO plan can be answered by calling Greater Newport Physicians’ Member Services Desk at (949)-574-4575 or (657)-241-8040 & toll-free at 800-553-6537.

Advance Health Care Planning
At Irvine Family Care, we want to carry out your wishes regarding your health and health care in the event of end-of-life care. We recommend that you visit Caring Connections. Per their site: “Just as financial planning helps to ensure that our financial goals are met, advance care planning is a process to think through, discuss and document goals for end-of-life care. Without planning and communication, your family and health care providers may struggle to honor your wishes and values if you are unable to communicate.”
